April Showers Friday Party Feature

Today's Featured Party goes to the AMAZING Jenny of
Crossing the Bugger-Dixon Line!
I'm so excited this party is being featured today because Jenny won a giveaway over on my blog, Pirates-n-Princesses, and used some of her winnings in this fabulous party!

Hanging Flower Jars

Hey party people, Heather of Pirates-n-Princesses here again with a SUPER cute hanging jar with gorgeous flowers that you can do yourself!  I found this idea over on The Twinery's blog and fell in love.  There is just soooo much that you can do with twine.  These particular jars with flowers were used at a wedding, but these would be so cute at a spring or summer shower or party.  Start collecting your household and jamming jars!  Then you'll just need to wash them out, paint the inside white, tie your twine and ribbon around the jar and hang with your flowers inside!

Gorgeous.

Spring Paper Bag Bunting

I.Love.Buntings.
I just wish I knew how to sew...

Check out this super cute DIY
Spring Paper Bag Bunting from

With a few simple supplies (paper lunch bags, scrap fabric, scrapbook paper, ric rack,  ribbon, pom pom and any other trims and embellishments) you can whip this out easy peasy.

After you've trimmed your paper bag, added your super cute fabric and letters, it's time to embellish away.

She used double folded bias tape to attach the bags and to hang the banner...may need to invest in some of that, she makes it look super simple!
