DIY- Glitter Lollipop Tree

It's always fun to make some cute and quick crafts to decorate my parties!  Today, I am sharing how simple it is to make a pretty lollipop tree to add to the desserts table.

Supplies: Ribbon, spray paint, spray adhesive, glitter, a foam cone and lollipops

Spray paint your foam cone whatever color you want.  Note- you need to buy the "Design Master" brand of paint or any foam paint.  Other paint might make little holes on the foam.

After done painting, add some spray adhesive.  I've also used hairspray instead and it works just as well.

Add the glitter right away and let it dry for about 15-20 minutes.

Add your ribbon around the bottom and twisting towards the top. I used my glue gun for this.

Stick your lollipops and you are done!

I made the black and yellow for my daughter's bumble bee party. Everyone loved it!

Easy right?

Have fun making one!!

*Press* Arizona Midday Local TV show

Hello everyone!!!

I am back from spending Christmas with family in El Paso, TX!  I can't believe how cold it was and it was snowing on Christmas Eve!!  My girls had so much fun!

I will be blogging this week about things and events I didn't get a chance to post sooner like this one that happened this past summer.....lol

Back on August 8th, I appeared on a local TV show called, Arizona Midday

I had a lot of fun planning and coming up with ideas on how to "go green" for party decorations.  It was a quick less than 5 minutes segment, but I hope you enjoy the ideas I came up with.

My sweet friend, Andrea from LimeFlower Studio took these beautiful pictures for me.
Setting up before the show......

Toilet paper roll and a cardboard cupcake stand covered with zebra paper.....

Princess crown made with a cereal box....

Party hat made with a cereal box as well....

I save these small marshmallows because they were hard and made this centerpiece for my daughter's bumble bee party!

Can of soup wrapped with scrapbook paper.  I added rocks and dead palms from my backyard.

Toilet paper roll wrapped with scrapbook paper

Recycled cans wrapped with scrapbook paper

Recycled baby wipes box to use as a gift box

I believe things don't have to be expensive to look cute and it's great to recycle.
If you like to be crafty, these are super easy and quick!

Which idea was your favorite?
