Wedding Anniversary Party

I was honored to help style a SURPRISE 30th wedding anniversary party!  The party was last Saturday September, 4th.

The couple celebrating 30 years of marriage are my friends since 2003.  They are very special people to us.  My friend, Tiffany contacted me a few weeks before the party to get some ideas.  I immediately knew a black and white damask was perfect for a theme.  She wanted to include bright green.  I was thrilled because I had recently seen this picture from Sandra Downie Event Designs.  She is fantastic!  Check her out if you haven't already.  Lots of inspiration from her to put this party together....thank you Sandra!!!

Thank you to my sweet friend, Lisa who came to take these gorgeous pictures!!

Desserts

Cake and cupcake tower made by a friend of the couple.  Her business name is "Cakes By Stephanie".  I don't have a website, but her phone number is 480-980-2351.  You can also email her at sjdible@cox.net.

Cookies made by sweeticakes.com

Cake truffles made by my friend, Lisa :)

Candy bar.  The jar labels were designed by my sister.

I made cupcakes as well.  I didn't know cake lady was bringing some already :)  Cupcake toppers by "The Two Savvy Sisters".

Wrapped candy bars with a label saying "30 Years Of Sweetness".  Labels by Pink Clover Designs.

I made the centerpiece with black rocks, green Christmas ornaments, feathers and some greenery.  I love it!

Pretty plates from hobby lobby...

I should have wrapped the chairs in black because they were blue :(  I always learn something new for next time...don't you?

This gorgeous #30 was made by my friend, Tiffany.  You can see my banner at top.  It was hard to get a good picture because of the lighting and it was a really long banner.

She also wrapped these boxes just for decor...aren't they pretty?

Tiffany also framed this sign my sister made for me.

Damask photo collage of the couple.  A photo book of their journey together.  Guests got to sign the book as well :)

Drinks

Bottle water labels by Pink Clover Designs

Thank you favors are small damask bags with mints.  Tags designed by "The Two Savvy Sisters".

This party was a bit challenging because it was a surprise and we had one hour to set up. I'm so thankful though.  I could have never pulled this off without everyone's help.  Thank you sooooooo much for all of you who contributed to this wonderful party!!!  I appreciate you!!!  A super special thanks to Kim, from TomKat Studio for letting me borrow her damask tablecloths! XOXO

HAPPY 30TH ANNIVERSARY MIKE & LUCINDA!!!
WE LOVE YOU!!!!

  24. Oh my! Finally, I found this great idea for a green theme party! My parents love the color. They'll be celebrating their 25th anniversary this coming 30th, and we've been up for the planning. All their friends are invited and relatives from San Diego. Tent rentals are not a problem, though. We already contacted the tent rental (San Francisco-based) services and everything is scheduled. Good thing they have these green colored canopies. Ah! Perfect for the Holiday season. Thanks for sharing these!
