Project Wedding has a DIY tutorial on how you can create your own "Opulent Treasures" cake stand using a few simple materials.
First you'll need some round earring backings, like these found at Michael's...
Glue them to the bottom of a round plate...
Glue down the base and give everything a good coat of spray paint.
Attach your crystals and Ta-Daa... you have an "Opulent Treasures" cake stand at a fraction of the price.
