DIY Burlap Garland

Happy Thursday!
Today's DIY is a super cute burlap garland from WhipperBerry
Seriously, how popular is burlap these days?
So rustic looking.

Supplies you'll need:
Burlap (She used 5 yards and got a 12 foot long garland!)
Heavy weight hemp twine
Yarn needle
Scissors

First, cut your burlap.  For an easy tip on how to cut your burlap straight, be sure to go check out the full tutorial HERE.
She cut her's 4 inches wide.

Once everything's cut, measure your hemp twine to the length you want your garland.  Then thread your needle and make a knot at the end.  Then make a very large basic stitch in the middle of the burlap from end to end and gently push the burlap down to the knot.

Keep adding your burlap strips until you run out of twine and you're left with a stunning burlap garland!

  1. Love it!! I love how the burlap takes on sort of a soft spirit once it is gathered.
