Wooohooo!!...Super excited to share about my friend, Valarie today. She is very creative! Her cute etsy shop, Everything Girly has adorable pink, sassy, sweet, and girly stuff!!!
Valarie has been married to a wonderful man for almost 8 years this month. She is a stay-at-home mommy to Sophia and her son, Ryan.
What do you enjoy doing with your free time?
Free time....what's that?? ;) Well when I do get some time to myself I love to shop! Especially for cute clothes for my daughter. I also enjoy reading but that doesn't happen to often!
Favorite color?
My favorite color is pink. Isn't that every girls' favorite color??
Favorite food?
I'm a junk food junkie! Pizza is definetly my weakness.
If you could throw a party for yourself, what would the theme be?
Hmmm...that's a tough one. I think I would throw a spa party. It would be a nice way to relax and have some girl time!
Which talent you wish you had, but you don’t?
I wish I could paint but sadly I'm terrible at it.
Who or what inspires you to be creative?
My daughter is a huge inpiration!! I love dressing her up...she's my barbie doll :)
What thing or things do you enjoy shopping for at Michaels/Hobby Lobby or any craft store?
I love shopping for fabric. There's so many different designs/patterns.
Tell me about your etsy shop/online store. How, why, when did you start your business?
My etsy shop started because of my daughter. I hated not being able to find bows to match her outfits so I learned how to make them! I didn't want to pay boutique prices for all the really cute stuff so, I would figure out how to make it myself. I learned how to make jewelry, tutus, and my mom taught me how to sew. So now I do it all!! I love being able to pick out really cute fabric and make her an outfit or a blanket.
What do you love most about blogging, facebook, and/or having your own etsy shop?
I love being able to earn extra money while I stay at home with my kids. It was important to me to be able to be a stay at home mom. Hopefully one day (when they are a little older) I will be able to open my own boutique!!
